Use:

Fumaric acid is used as an acidulant due to its bacteriostatic and antiseptic function.  It also can be used as acidity regulator, acidifier, thermal-oxidtive resist auxiliary, curing accelerant and spice.

It also used as acidic substance of effervescent agent, it can produce extended and exquisite bubbles. Fumaric acid can be use as pharmaceutical intermediate and optical bleaching agent. Furthermore, fumaric acid can be used to produce unsaturated polyester resin.
